Yoga is a system of philosophy that originated in India 5000 years ago, and is now increasingly popular in the West. The reasons? Yoga offers a holistic approach to body, mind and spirit, and can provide the 'tools' to cope with the stresses and challenges of modern life. It's also a great way to keep fit, and it is something anyone can do regardless of age, sex or ability!

You may be drawn to yoga simply for health and fitness. Or you may be seeking relief for a specific physical condition; or for exercises suitable for the less able-bodied. Or perhaps you are looking for a good way to manage stress. Whatever your aims, there are yoga classes that can help you achieve them.

The friendly yoga classes taught by Susan Peck - an experienced yoga teacher - could be a good way for you to start. This mixed-ability class is ideal for women and men of all ages and levels of fitness. It meets in Milton Parish Centre on TUESDAYS 7.15pm - 8.45pm.
